They sign Samuel don't get Moss
Stephen A. Smith said it so well the other night when he learned that the Eagles Signed Samuel. He said the Eagles didn't need much help with the defense, what they need help with is the offense. I couldn't agree more. While I am excited they got a lock down corner, I won't jump up and down until the get a big time wide receiver.
Sources say they did go hard after Randy Moss and offered him more that the Patriots ended up signing him for 3 years 27 million. but I guess Randy wanted to stay with his boyfriend Brady and the Patriots. Don't get discouraged Eagles, go and get someone else. Make a hard push for another big time #1. Like Chad Johnson. Imagine a big time wide receiver in Philly, they would then have all the pieces, great QB, dynamic all purpose RB and a deep threat WR and a great D. What are they waiting for, and no bringing back Stallworth will not make me happy unless they bring in more than just him.

Who should the Eagles pick up in Free Agency?
What about Randy Moss? If he makes it to free agency, they better do all they can to pick him up is all I'm saying.

Madden 08 Eagles Highlights
I know it's just a game but cool highlights are cool highlights. This is what I expect from them next season. Glad to see they finally gave Westbrook his true skills in the game.

Eagles deny Sheppard Rumors
So apparently they are not interested in a trade that would send Lito Sheppard out of town. Good, I'm glad, I was pretty upset when I heard that news.
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Trade Lito Sheppard?
I saw yesterday that the Eagles will be entertaining possible trades for Lito Sheppard. It better be for a kick ass wide receiver is all I'm saying.

1988 Eagles Rap
This takes me back. After the 1985 Bears made their infamous video it became the norm to do these things. This is pretty funny.

Ocho Cinco and the Cowboys
First lets watch a funny video about the hated Cowboys.
Now lets talk about Chad Johnson some more, the other day I suggested that they do their best to trade for and sign him. Yesterday I hear there are reports that the rival Redskins are interested in aquiring his services. Please Eagles, I beg you, do all your best to get him and not let him go to the Redskins, and if you don't want him for some stupid reason, please don't be like your idiot Phillies brothers and not try and sign him. At the very least bid him up and drive the price on him way high so that it will cost the Redskins an arm and a leg to get him.

Pro Bowl
The only Eagle in the game Brian Westbrook had only one carry and two receptions. But the NFC did pull out a victory after being down 24-7. I have never watched a pro bowl including this one.
Here's some highlights from yesterday's game.
I can't believe the season is truly over.

Philadephia had a hand in Patriots loss?
Of course I really don't think this had much of an impact on the game, but I still want to give a big shout out to Pennsylvania Senator and Eagles fan Arlen Spector for not letting Spygate go on deaf ears. His demand for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to explain his actions for destroying the tape and wanting a further probe on what the Patriots actually did may have been a thorn in the Patriots side.
Go Arlen Spector, fry those cheating bastards!

Chad Johnson to the Eagles
Right now it’s just me trying to spread a rumor that I hope to catch fire. As I was watching Sportscenter this afternoon, scrolling on the bottom I see Drew Rosenhaus has made an announcement that his client Chad Johnson has not said privately that he will sit out the 2008 season because of a betrayal by head coach Marvin Lewis.
Weather he said this or not, the media will keep pushing this button until it gets hotter and hotter. You know what I want? I want the Eagles to heavily pursue this issue and engage in trade talks with Cincinnati for Johnson. I know some or even many of you will say "haven't you learned anything from the whole T.O. saga?"
The only thing that the two have in common is super scum agent Drew Rosenhaus, other than that Ocho Cinco and T.O. are two different entities. Chad Johnson has never thrown any of his teammates under the bus.
Even though the Patriots didn't win the Superbowl, the Eagles need to take a page out of their playbook and get some big name wide receivers in there. If they want to keep McNabb and make a true run for the Superbowl, a trade like this needs to happen. The Eagles already have the defense; a great quarterback in McNabb and an all purpose big threat running back in Brian Westbrook. Now just get the final missing pieces in talented big name wide receiver or two and you can do exactly what the Patriots did or better, win the whole enchilada. This must happen. Do it, Do it now (in an Arnold Schwarzennegger voice).
NFC East is the best
Even though I wasn't rooting for them, it was tough I had no idea who to root for since I hated both teams, I applaud the NY Giants for pulling off the huge upset and taking down those cheating bastards the Patriots. While our guys weren't in it, we can be happy to say the best comes from our division, the NFC East.

New York Giants Vs. New England Patriots Superbowl XLII
My question goes out to all the Jets fans including my Father-in-law Jay. Who are you rooting for in this one? I think they despise both teams.
As for me its a tough call, I also hate both teams. Do I root for a fellow NFC East? Usually I hate all other NFC East teams. I would like to see the Patriots shut the 1972 Dolphins up, but I hate them too. Who to root for? That is the ultimate question.
Who are you rooting for and why?

Some recent highlights
Check out the move Westbrook makes about a minute in, that's filthy. I also love the hit from Sheldon Brown on Reggie Bush. I have no idea how Bush ever got back up from that hit. He is one strong dude.
Let's kick it a little old school
Randall Cunningham Mix. I am a little bummed they don't include that one scramble where Keith Byers laid out his good buddy Pepper Johnson of the Giants. Remeber that one? If anyone can find it send me a link please. I almost forgot how deadly he was, he could do it all! The original Mike Vick, minus the dog fighting.

T.O. Get your popcorn ready and sit on your couch
You got to love it, a double dip, The Cowboys lose and T.O cries. I love this Michael Strahan comment directed towards T.O. about midway through.
Now watch T.O. cry like a little baby. After ripping QB's Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia, why does he have so much love for Tono Romo? Could they possible be more than friends? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Donovan wants some playmakers
And so do I, why in the hell are the Eagles constantly under the cap? sure they got burned in that whole T.O saga, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen every time. Let's go out and get a few wide receivers with McNabb and Westbrook and this team could be deadly once again.
Did you hear or see what McNabb said on his Blog?
Here you go.
Donovan McNabb makes comments about acquirning playmakers for the Eagles.
